Diane is also the Music Director and Conductor of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, PA. As a teacher, Diane is a frequent guest lecturer at Juilliard and the Curtis Institute of Music, as well as other Universities and Colleges.<\/p>\n<p>Diane Wittry&#8217;s first book, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Beyond-Baton-Every-Conductor-Needs\/dp\/0199773939\">Beyond the Baton &#8211; What Every Conductor Needs to Know<\/a><\/i> (Oxford University Press 2007) has become a standard required text for the orchestral conducting programs nationally. Diane just published a followup work, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Baton-Basics-Communicating-through-Gestures\/dp\/0199354162\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1450883480&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=Baton+Basics\">Baton Basics: Communicating Music Through Gestures<\/a> <\/i>(Oxford University Press 2014).
