Allentown, PA \u2013 The Center for Humanistic Change, Inc. is offering online trainings for leaders in communities of faith so they can help make a difference to those struggling with substance use disorder, as well as in the recovery community.<\/p>\n
Upcoming trainings:<\/strong><\/p>\n November 10, 2020: 6:30 PM-8:00 PM (Spanish)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 November 17, 2020: 9:00 AM-10:30 AM<\/p>\n November 12, 2020: 9:00 AM-10:30 AM (Spanish)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 November 19, 2020: 6:30 PM-8:00 PM<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Register by going to <\/strong>www.thechc.org<\/strong><\/a> and clicking on Upcoming Events.<\/strong> Each organization will receive a $25.00 stipend for attending. The Center for Humanistic Change (CHC) will follow up the training by delivering materials for distribution to your members. In addition, CHC staff will provide free follow-up educational programs<\/strong>, online or in-person, directly to your congregations.<\/p>\n Working together with faith-based organizations can give families and individuals the support needed to reduce stigma related to substance misuse, and move toward healthier, productive lives. We do this by providing prevention education and life skills trainings focusing on decision making for healthy choices.
