January 18, 2021\u2014The Liberty Bell Museum will resume operations on February 1st 2021 and will be open by appointment only. Due to COVID-19\/Coronavirus, we have taken the following precautions to protect our visitors:<\/p>\n
All groups must be less than 25 individuals.<\/p>\n
Museum staff has thoroughly sanitized all exposed surfaces.<\/p>\n
The tour guides will be washing their hands thoroughly before giving any tour.<\/p>\n
Protective plastic covers the gift shop area. Visitors may still purchase souvenirs, but only the tour guide on duty is authorized to touch the museum’s souvenirs.<\/p>\n
Hand sanitizer will be made available for all visitors and tour guides.<\/p>\n
To maintain the museum’s sanitation, the museum requires its visitors to adhere to the following guidelines:<\/p>\n
Visitors must wear masks at all times.<\/p>\n
Surfaces in the museum are not to be touched unless permitted by the tour guide.<\/p>\n
Visitors will be required to allow museum staff to verify body temperature using a touch-free thermometer.<\/p>\n
The museum staff will require visitors to verify they have not come from or been inside any state’s borders on the “High-Risk COVID State list.” Visitors can find this list at the following URL:\u00a0https:\/\/www.health.pa.gov\/topics\/disease\/coronavirus\/Pages\/Travelers.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n Patrons will be required to make an appointment to visit the museum. Please call 610 435-4232 to ensure the availability of a tour guide.<\/p>\n Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children age 5-17. There is no admission charge for children 4 and under.<\/p>\n The Liberty Bell Museum is located at historic Zion’s Church at 622 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown. Parking is available on-street or at the Community Parking Deck located at 6th and Walnut Streets.
