Winter Restaurant Week<\/strong><\/p>\n Sunday, February 21 \u2013 Saturday, February 27, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Calling all foodies! Just in time to beat the winter blues, Greater Northern Lehigh\u2019s Winter Restaurant Week is right around the corner and bringing some of the best restaurants the Northern Lehigh Valley has to offer! Greater Northern Lehigh\u2019s Winter Restaurant week is planned for February 21-27, 2021; the week-long event is designed to shine a spotlight on the diverse and delicious restaurants the Northern Lehigh Valley has to offer!<\/p>\n Participating restaurants will offer \u201cset-price\u201d or \u201cprix fixe\u201d breakfast, lunch, dinner, and\/or dessert selections with both takeout, dine-in, and curbside options. \u201cMore than ever, our restaurants need our support and a Restaurant Week that is customized to their current business model,\u201d said Kylie Adams, Manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. \u201cBy shining a spotlight on our local restaurants, many of whom had shuttered doors for parts of 2020, we\u2019re hoping to bring new customers and new business to local favorites!\u201d<\/p>\n Menus are designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and lifestyles. 2021 brings the third ever restaurant week to this region; with its inaugural run in 2019, which saw a great response from customers and businesses alike, The Chamber looks forward to watching this event grow! The Thunderhead Lodge, for example, is a sign of that growth \u2013 located in Schuylkill County\u2019s Andreas, they are participating for the first time in 2021. Offering a $25 per person menu that features items such as Short Rib Goulash, a tender beef short rib root vegetable stew served over creamy mashed potatoes, and Chicken Francaise, they\u2019re a delicious addition.<\/p>\n Similarly, the Berlinsville Hotel, will be participating with a $22 per person deal, while the 19th<\/sup> Grille at Woodstone will offer special pricing on their customers\u2019 favorites. Each restaurant was tasked with designing menus that presented both option that suited their current business model and served up a great representation of what their normal menus have to offer.<\/p>\n \u201cOur region\u2019s landscape is widespread and diverse, and our restaurants are no different,\u201d said Adams. \u201c\u201cFrom farm-to-table specialties and great pub food, we\u2019re really excited to get out and try new places and revisit old favorites \u2013 all while supporting local. Especially when we\u2019re all fighting through these grey winter months, it\u2019s a great excuse to get out of the house and plan a night out with friends or family (and not have to do as much grocery shopping next week).\u201d<\/p>\n Reservations are strongly recommended at each restaurant, especially with current government mandates in place. With most restaurants operating at 50% capacity, smaller restaurants are filling up quickly. Despite this, Andy Gildner, owner of Keystone Technology, LLC, and Chair of the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, noted, \u201cRestaurant Week is an excellent opportunity to share with the entire Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber the hidden gems of our area!
