Senior residents of Northampton County, who are registered with LANTA\u2019s Share Ride for Seniors Program, can get a free door-to-door trip to and from appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Approximately 8,800 seniors in Northampton County already use the Share Ride for Seniors Program. Anyone who would like to register may do so by calling LANTA at 1-888-253-8333, Monday through Sunday from 8:00AM \u2013 4:30PM.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Regular PennDOT grant funds will cover 85% of the trip cost. The County of Northampton will pay the remainder with funds from Area Agency on Aging.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cWe thank LANTA for its participation in this program,\u201d says Lamont McClure. \u201cOur older residents have borne the brunt of this pandemic.
