BETHLEHEM, PA \u2013 Registration is open for Via of the Lehigh Valley\u2019s Teen Summer Experience.\u00a0 Via Teen Summer Experience helps teens with disabilities develop social skills and peer networks that lead to success in young adult life, career development and independence.\u00a0 Since 2008, hundreds of individuals have participated in this program to enhance independence at home and in the community.<\/p>\n
Via Teen Summer Experience runs from June 14 to August 20, 2021 and is for teens and young adults from age 12 to 21.\u00a0 The program provides opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities that include job shadowing and career counseling, volunteer activities in a variety of inclusive settings, and a series of recreational and team-building activities.<\/p>\n
Via Teen Summer Experience staff can set up a virtual informational session for schools, groups or organizations to talk with staff and\/or families about this program. Scholarships are available.
