CPD funds are used to develop strong communities by promoting integrated approaches to provide decent housing and suitable living environments while expanding economic opportunities for low-and-moderate-income and special needs populations.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Through the CPD\u2019s formula, Northampton County will receive a total of $3,051,035.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Community Development Block Grants &#8211; $2,217,058<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0HOME Investment Partnerships &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $\u00a0\u00a0645,299<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Emergency Solutions Grant\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $\u00a0\u00a0188,678<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>DCED will issue an announcement when the application process for each grant opens in a few months.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)\u00a0are funded with money from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
