During the event, guests will slurp their way through the streets of Historic Downtown Bethlehem tasting soups from local restaurants. Tickets are $20 and they include soup at nine stops.

Each saunter will take about an hour and a half. To ensure social distancing, tickets will be extremely limited. There are 240 total and each is for a specific time slot with no more than 60 participants to ensure everyone can savor their soup safely. Within hours of tickets going on sale Tuesday, nearly 100 tickets were sold. Downtown Bethlehem Association Manager Tammy Wendling was thrilled to see the enthusiasm. She said, “It’s so important that we continue to find fun, safe, socially distant outdoor events to keep our community vibrant. Restaurants are counting on this community support to keep their doors open and their staff members employed.”

Participating Restaurants
– Billy’s Downtown Diner
– Edge Restaurant
– Historic Hotel Bethlehem
– McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub & Whiskey Bar
– Tapas on Main
– Tavern at the Sun Inn
– The Brick
– Twisted Olive
– Urbano Mexican Kitchen & Bar

The Golden Spoon Contest
Soup Saunter participants will vote for their favorites online.
