ALLENTOWN, PA \u2014<\/strong>\u00a0Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is partnering with\u00a0Northampton Community College<\/a>\u00a0to offer a five-week certified nursing assistant (CNA) training program. This specialized program will prepare participants to sit for the nurse aide exam.<\/p>\n Training kicks off July 12, 2021. It is free for participants and is a paid training. Participants must be at least 18 years old.<\/p>\n After completing training, Good Shepherd hires trainees for permanent CNA positions at one of two long-term care locations:<\/p>\n To sign up, email\u00a0smease@gsrh.org\u00a0<\/a>or call\u00a0484-280-1772<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Classes are Monday through Friday (July 12-23, 2021) from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Northampton Community College Fowler Center, 511 E. 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0Street, Bethlehem.<\/p>\n Following classes, clinical training will be July 26, 2021, through August 4, 2021, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Clinicals will take place at either\u00a0Good Shepherd Home \u2013 Bethlehem<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Good Shepherd Home \u2013 Raker Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n Good Shepherd and NCC have partnered on this training program for several years.
