Allentown, PA<\/strong>\u00a0(April 28, 2021)<\/strong>– Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania\u2019s (CISEasternPA) Vice President of Advancement, Maria Esposito, was named one of Lehigh Valley Business\u2019 (LVB) 2021 Women of Influence award recipients. The honorees were selected based on professional experience, community involvement and commitment to mentoring. Esposito, along with the other award recipients will be honored during a virtual event to be held on May 3, 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m incredibly honored to be recognized by Lehigh Valley Business,\u201d Esposito says. \u201cI look forward to witnessing Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania\u2019s impact and eagerly anticipate furthering our organization\u2019s engagement in the Lehigh Valley and Berks County regions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCISEasternPA hit the jackpot when Maria Esposito joined the team. She is a wonderful person who shows her compassion for others in the form of mission-driven leadership. Her ability to create and maintain relationships is remarkable, and her professional relationships are always meaningful and last far beyond professional engagement,\u201d remarked Tim Mulligan, CEO and Executive Director of CISEasternPA. \u201cHer desire to transform lives and create futures full of hope and promise fuels her commitment to education. It\u2019s no secret that Maria has positively influenced the future of CIS of Eastern PA, and her work ethic, ambition, spirit and leadership make her the ideal candidate for a Lehigh Valley Business Woman of Influence award.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Vice President of Advancement for CISEasternPA, Esposito maintains and increases key organizational fundraising benchmarks, develops internal marketing plans, and has even built the new CISEasternPA virtual tour format. Outside of CISEasternPa, she is an active member of the Bethlehem Rotary and Bethlehem Rotary Foundation. Esposito is also a board member for the Univest Bank & Trust Foundation, on the Board of Ambassadors for Lehigh Valley Hospital Network, a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, National Council of Marketing & Public Relations, and American Society of Association Executives.<\/p>\n
