The Lehigh Valley is a special place to live, work and play, a diverse area made up of vibrant communities. This year, The Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce is celebrating their 32nd Annual Snow Ball signature black tie dinner dance and silent auction on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at Brookside Country Club.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Snow Ball is more than just a fun evening. It is also an opportunity to give back to your community. Each year, auction proceeds benefit a local nonprofit whose mission is closely aligned with that of the Chamber. In the past 31 years, The Chamber\u2019s Business Council has contributed close to $600,000 to local organizations, thanks to the generosity of attendees and local businesses.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year, the beneficiary is the\u00a0Chamber Foundation \u2013 Main Street Lehigh Valley. In 2020, The Chamber, the Foundation and generous partners teamed up to support local small businesses and restaurants with over $500,000 in emergency funding during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, as businesses begin to reopen, they are looking to strengthen their impact on every main street, through beautification grants, especially as we are moving much of our dining and gathering outdoors.\u00a0Over the last 13 years, The Chamber Foundation has invested over $500,000, leveraging over $12 Million in over 275 projects in Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Warren (NJ) counties.<\/div>\n

About The Beneficiary:<\/strong><\/div>\n
The mission of The Main Street Foundation is to improve the physical appearance of every downtown and traditional surrounding neighborhood. Over the last 13 years, the Chamber Foundation has invested over $500,000 and leveraged $12 Million in beautification projects.\u00a0In 2020, during Covid, the Chamber Foundation partnered with the Chamber and generous member businesses to provide $353,000 to support small businesses during the shutdown.\u00a0On Christmas eve, another $150,000 went out to support local restaurants, that is over $1Million in investment!<\/div>\n
