Northampton Area Chamber Presents: <\/p>\n Event Information: The Northampton Area Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce invites you to join the fun & festivities at Uptown Northampton Street Fair on May 22nd<\/sup>! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n When COVID-19 struck down Uptown Northampton Street Fair in September 2020, the community felt its absence \u2013 the annual festival lines Main Street with vendors, food trucks, offering live music and performances for thousands of visitors and residents.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile understandable under the circumstances, it felt like a true loss,\u201d said Kylie Adams, Assistant Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. \u201cUptown Northampton is a staple in our community and postponing in September was tough; however, at the end of the day, the safety of our town comes first. Now with vaccinations readily available, we\u2019re ready to move forward, reopen the festival, and kick off spring with a bang!\u201d<\/p>\n Rescheduled from September, the date for Uptown Northampton is scheduled for May 22, 2021 and the festival will run from 11 AM \u2013 4 PM. The festival will feature nearly 80 vendors and 10 food trucks, making the festival smaller than a typical year, but not by much.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen replanning our festival for the spring, we called it our \u2018Mini-May\u2019 Uptown,\u201d said Jessica O\u2019Donnell, Executive Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. \u201cWe focused on keeping it smaller, but the want and need for this festival is evident \u2013 applications for vendors were received up to the due date, and we\u2019re excited to see our festival come back to life.\u201d<\/p>\n The festival will feature live music from Kendal Conrad (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kendalconradmusic\/<\/a>) and Chasing Daylight, as well as performances from 3D Dance (http:\/\/www.3ddancestudio.net\/<\/a>) and Elite Mixed Martial Arts (https:\/\/elitemmactr.com\/<\/a>).
