Lamont McClure, the Department of Community and Economic Development, Emergency Management Services and Lehigh Valley Hospital-Coordinated Health Allentown Hospital (LVH-CHA) announce that vaccinations will be available at the COVID-19 drive-through testing site at 3100 Emrick Boulevard, Bethlehem Township beginning on June 3rd<\/sup>. Vaccinations are by appointment only and only for Northampton County residents. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available to residents age eighteen and older. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a single dose. Those receiving the Moderna vaccine will require a second dose three weeks after the first shot.<\/div>\n

Hours of Operation at the site are Monday\/Wednesday\/Friday from 10:00AM \u2013 2:00PM and Tuesday\/Thursday from 3:00PM \u2013 6:00PM.<\/div>\n

To make an appointment for a vaccine at the COVID-19 testing site use one of the following options:<\/div>\n

  1. Schedule at the LVHN website at\u00a0LVHN.org\/appointments<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Schedule\u00a0on the MyLVHN patient portal, at\u00a0MyLVHN.org<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Call\u00a0833-584-6283 (833-LVHN-CVD)<\/a>. The COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u201cThe County of Northampton is pleased to offer a drive-through vaccination clinic to our residents,\u201d says Lamont McClure. \u201cVaccines have the power to save not only lives, but also livelihoods.\u201d<\/div>\n

     <\/p>\n

    A Physician\u2019s order is not required for a COVID-19 test. The drive-through site is open to everyone, but only residents of Northampton County will have the cost of testing covered by the County if they do not have health coverage. All testing will be through HNL Lab Medicine unless insurance requires an alternate laboratory. Participants should bring a photo ID and their insurance card, if they have one, with them to the testing site.<\/div>\n
