{"id":107081,"date":"2021-06-17T22:15:43","date_gmt":"2021-06-18T02:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=107081"},"modified":"2021-06-17T22:15:43","modified_gmt":"2021-06-18T02:15:43","slug":"jingle-in-july-5k-one-mile-walk-to-return-saturday-july-24-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=107081","title":{"rendered":"\u201cJingle in July\u201d 5K\/One Mile Walk to Return Saturday, July 24, 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Event supports KidsPeace Foster Care in Reading, PA<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>READING, PA (June 17, 2021)<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; KidsPeace Foster Care in Reading, PA announced that its\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cJingle in July\u201d 5K Run\/One Mile Walk\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>fundraising event will return\u00a0<strong>Saturday, July 24, 2021 as an IN-PERSON event &#8211; and registration is open\u00a0<\/strong>now!<\/p>\n<p>The event will again be held at\u00a0<strong>Gring\u2019s Mill recreation area in Wyomissing,\u00a0<\/strong>PA, with the 5K starting at 8:30 a.m. on 7\/24 and the One Mile Walk following immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Early registration for the\u00a0<em>Jingle in July<\/em>\u00a0events is open at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kidspeace5k.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.kidspeace5k.org&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1624042452011000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGtRRc5IqFQao6l_sRWhnWrCuGIKQ\">www.kidspeace5k.org<\/a>. The entrance fee is $<strong>20 through July 10<\/strong>, and early registrants are\u00a0<strong>guaranteed\u00a0<\/strong>an event T-shirt.\u00a0 The fee goes\u00a0<strong>up to $25 for registrations after 7\/10<\/strong>, with T-shirts available only while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>The holiday-themed event is the Reading office\u2019s primary fundraising event, with\u00a0<strong>all donations going towards events, activities and recognition in support of the foster parents served by the office and the kids in their care<\/strong>.
