The BC Combo entertains as part of the Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation\u2019s 2021 Saturday in the Park concert series at historic West Park on Saturday, June 26 at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
The BC Combo is a highly respected group of singer-songwriters who bring their wealth of experience and passion to Blues, Jazz, Swing, Folk, R&B, Soul and more.\u00a0They have performed on stage with the likes of Ray Charles, Shemekia Copeland, Carl Weathersby and many more.<\/p>\n
The BC Combo is among the Lehigh Valley\u2019s top performing groups. Their combined, diversified talents span over 20 years. Their signature style is recognized by audiences across the region and abroad.<\/p>\n
Female vocalist Bev Conklin (BC) has an extraordinary compassion and grace that compliments her amazing diversity in voice and is a multiple Lehigh Valley Music Awards winner.<\/p>\n
Wayne Smith has the gift to conduct the band, while handling guitar, percussion and vocals. He was the Lehigh Valley Music Awards 2019 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.<\/p>\n
Joe Mac plays guitar for the band, Glenn Spadone is on the drums and Dan Evans plays bass and adds vocals.<\/p>\n
The City of Allentown\u2019s Saturday in the Park Series features a wide variety of concerts in city parks during the summer of 2021. The series also features Lucky 7 on July 24, and The Large Flowerheads on August 14.<\/p>\n
