Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber Presents: <\/strong> The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce presents Heritage Day!<\/p>\n The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce (GNLCC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber, is pleased to announce that Slatington\u2019s Heritage Day will return in 2021 on Saturday, July 3rd<\/sup>, 2021 at Veterans Memorial Park.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter being forced to cancel Heritage Day in 2020, we are happy to bring this long-held tradition back to Slatington,\u201d said Kylie Adams, Assistant Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. \u201cWe will be hosting the event outdoors on the morning of July 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0to ensure continuing our tradition will keep all in attendance are comfortable with such a gathering, and we are excited to resume the tradition once more!\u201d<\/p>\n The event has been held in Slatington for several decades and is typically held in the Slatington Baptist Church, which will be available in case of inclement weather. Live music from the Heritage Day Band will be provided in the park, with an invocation from Reverend James LeVan of Slatington Baptist Church, followed by a program from presenter Kaz Kotlow, a local community leader and veteran.<\/p>\n \u201cKaz will be recognized at the event for his years of service to our country, as well as all of the brave men and women who have served from our community,\u201d said Jessica O\u2019Donnell, EVP of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. \u201cWhile we typically enjoy holding the event at Slatington Baptist, it felt very appropriate to be hosting this event in front of Slatington\u2019s Veterans Memorial with flags flying!
