{"id":107383,"date":"2021-07-20T22:13:26","date_gmt":"2021-07-21T02:13:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=107383"},"modified":"2021-07-20T22:13:26","modified_gmt":"2021-07-21T02:13:26","slug":"the-53rd-pennridge-gallery-of-the-arts-returns-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=107383","title":{"rendered":"The 53rd Pennridge Gallery of the Arts Returns in 2021!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Borough of Sellersville and the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts Committee is proud to present the 53<sup>rd<\/sup> Annual Pennridge Gallery of the Arts on September 19, 2021!<\/p>\n<p>The Borough of Sellersville and the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts Committee are thrilled to announce that after a year of cancelled events and restrictions, Gallery of the Arts will be held on September 19, 2021, from noon to 5pm!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe could not be more proud to see our festival return to the Main Street, Sellersville, and are grateful to Sellersville\u2019s Borough Council and Borough Manager, Eileen Bradley, for their support in moving forward with this event!\u201d said Kylie Adams, Chairperson for the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts. \u201cWhile last year\u2019s virtual event was a fun twist and challenged us to be creative in promoting the arts in Sellersville, we are so happy to be back in-person and bringing this beloved festival back to the Pennridge community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In its 53<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0year, the 2021 Pennridge Gallery Of The Arts will be held on Main Street in Sellersville once more.\u00a0 The street will be lined with booths filled with fine art and crafts from local artisans.\u00a0 There will also be live music, food trucks, local wine and beer, children\u2019s activities, and more throughout the day.\u00a0 Free tote bags filled with local coupons and festival information will be available to visitors, while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>The featured artist this year is Mandy Martin, a painter of Sellersville, PA.\u00a0 Her work will be displayed at Bux Mont Awards, during the event. \u201cMandy\u2019s work speaks for itself in her talent and passion,\u201d said Adams. \u201cHer work is colorful, bright, happy \u2013 everything we need to represent the sense of renewal after the year we\u2019ve had as a community!\u201d Martin\u2019s work will also be featured in the Lehigh Valley\u2019s 2021 Musikfest, which sees hundreds of thousands of music- and festival-goers each year.<\/p>\n<p>Art in the Parlours returns this year, too.\u00a0 Unique pieces of art will be displayed in the parlours of the Washington House Hotel &amp; Restaurant.\u00a0 Each piece will be available for sale, and will be judged in its own category.<\/p>\n<p>The Pennridge community strives to recognize our local talents in all forms, with live music scheduled throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>Please, come out and join us for the festivities on September 19th!\u00a0 The Gallery of the Arts Committee and the Borough are excited and anxious to welcome our artists, crafters, and community back for a long awaited, and much needed, day of fun.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, go to:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.galleryofthearts.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.galleryofthearts.org&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1626912495965000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEVnNI6hIWPqiHzmEoxynZivZNpRQ\">www.galleryofthearts.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nWhen:<\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em>Sunday, September 19<sup>th<\/sup>, 2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where:\u00a0<\/strong>Main Street, Sellersville PA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pricing Information:<\/strong>\u00a0FREE to attend<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Sponsors:<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><strong>Title Sponsor:\u00a0<\/strong>Moyer Indoor\/Outdoor<br \/>\n<strong>Entertainment Sponsor:\u00a0<\/strong>Penn Color, Penn Community Bank<br \/>\n<strong>Advertising Sponsors:\u00a0<\/strong>A&amp;T Chevrolet, Sellersville Theater, Exida<br \/>\n<strong>Art in the Parlours Sponsor:\u00a0<\/strong>Rockill Mennonite<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note:\u00a0 This festival will be held whatever restrictions are in place at that time; a inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
