{"id":107610,"date":"2021-08-10T21:35:51","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T01:35:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=107610"},"modified":"2021-08-10T21:35:51","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T01:35:51","slug":"senator-pat-browne-to-host-covid-19-vaccination-clinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=107610","title":{"rendered":"Senator Pat Browne to Host COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALLENTOWN, PA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 In light of a recent resurgence of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, Senator Pat Browne is partnering with Lehigh Valley Health Network to host a special COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Center City Allentown.<\/p>\n<p>The Vaccination Clinic will take place on Thursday, August 19, from 11 am to 2:00 pm at the Allentown Salvation Army Building located at 144 N. 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Street, Allentown, PA 18101. The clinic is being held in conjunction with the Allentown Salvation Army\u2019s Back-to-School Bookbag Giveaway and includes free books from Cops \u2018n\u2019 Kids.<\/p>\n<p>Pfizer shots will be administered by Lehigh Valley Health Network. Second shots will be scheduled for participants. The Vaccination Clinic is open to anyone over the age of 12 and no appointment is needed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones and our community against COVID-19,\u201d Senator Browne said. \u201cIf you have not already been vaccinated, I encourage you to come out on August 19<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to do your part in helping to end this pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Event is free and open to the public.
