ArtsQuest and New Bethany Ministries are joining forces on Friday, August 13 to honor those we lost and those fighting on the frontlines of the pandemic. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2013 In honor of those impacted by COVID-19,\u00a0ArtsQuest<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0New Bethany Ministries<\/a>\u00a0are presenting\u00a0Poppies of Remembrance, Lanterns of Hope,<\/a> with proceeds benefitting both organizations. Musikfest performers and attendees will be asked to #PauseTheMusik at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 13 for a moment of silence in recognition of those we have lost during the pandemic. More than 200 volunteers will participate in Luminaria Night, where red lanterns will mark the occasion throughout the city of Bethlehem.<\/p>\n The Blast Furnaces, City Center Allentown, Lehigh Valley Health Network, St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network, Moravian University and Nitschmann Middle School will also show support by lighting up red. Community members are encouraged to participate at home by purchasing lantern bouquets.
