BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2013 ArtsQuest is looking for actors to be a part of the fun and excitement of its eleventh-annual Oktoberfest celebration Oct. 1-3 and 8-10 at the SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Actors will portray characters typically seen at a German Oktoberfest, complete with authentic German attire, and interact with festival guests while in character.<\/p>\n
Oktoberfest auditions will take place Tuesday, August 31 from 7 \u2013 9 p.m. in the\u00a0Fowler Blast Furnace Room<\/a>\u00a0on the second floor of the ArtsQuest Center, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, Pa. Interested individuals do not need to prepare, as auditions will be primarily improv-based. Ability to perform with a realistic German accent is encouraged, but not required. All actors will be paid for their appearances at Oktoberfest.<\/p>\n To register to audition, please email Cinema\/Comedy Coordinator Addyson Young at\u00a0ayoung@artsquest.org<\/a>. The email should include an attached resume and headshot, and your preferred audition time (7, 7:30, 8, or 8:30).
