Volunteers have spent months preparing this annual celebration for the community, both those in Emmaus but also across the Lehigh Valley.

Food will be available from local restaurants including David’s Italian Market, Armetta’s Italian Restaurant, and more! Walk around to various watering holes like Triple Sun Spirits or Volpe’s Sports Bar.

Everyone will be able to walk around the Triangle to see craft vendors and local businesses. While you browse, enjoy live music throughout the event. For families, there will be kids activities hosted by Active Learning Centers and Lehigh Valley Martial Arts. Executive Vice President of Affiliated Chambers, Jessica O’Donnell, shares “Emmaus Main Street Partners eagerly awaits this annual festival because it kicks off a new fiscal year of events for our community with a rejuvenated group of volunteers excited to elevate and promote our local, small businesses while gathering our Lehigh Valley neighbors together for celebration of a new season.”

Parking will be available along Main Street and Chestnut Street for a maximum of two hours per usual. Parking along side streets is available as well as community lots throughout the Borough, which are a short walk down to the Triangle. The Triangle parking area artery will be closed on the day of the event from 9am-5pm to get vendors set up, enable guests to walk safely, and allow time for tear down. Vendors and Festival attendees MAY NOT park at Buss Paints & Wallpaper parking lot as that is for their patrons.

Sponsored by East Penn Manufacturing, the Emmaus Theatre will have a FREE kid-friendly, community movie after the event is over. The movie will be Despicable Me. Movie start time is approximately 4:30pm.

To help people get exposure to our local businesses, we’ll be hosting the Scarecrow Trail. Families can pick up passports at the Information Tent on the day of the event or print it from our event pages. Participants will then take their passport around to the businesses listed on the passport and get a stamp from each Scarecrow at the business. Once you have a full passport, return to the Information Table before 4pm and receive your goodie bag! Goodie bags will include candy, a free Emmaus Theatre movie ticket, noisemakers, crayons, coloring pages, temporary tattoos, and MORE!

When: Saturday September 18, 2021 from 11am-4pm

Where: Emmaus Triangle and along Main Street between Short St and 2nd St

Pricing Information: Free to attend

Scarecrow Trail Participating Businesses:

Let’s Play Books Bookstore

The Deca Salon

Emmaus Jewel Shop

Laura’s Custom Framing & Fine Arts

Green Earth Marketplace

Fuel Nutritional Smoothie & Café

Emmaus Central Fire & EMS Station

Khineder Creations

Lifestyle Barbershop

Your CBD Store

Ai Orthodontics

Korpics Upholstery & Lazy Dog Consignment

David’s Italian

Yergey Brewing

McCrystal Law Offices

Handmade Mystic

Sponsors:

Entertainment: Burkholders HVAC

Movie: East Penn Manufacturing & Emmaus Theatre

Kids Activities: Active Learning Center and Lehigh Valley Martial Arts

Information Tent: Gross McGinley and Seven Generations Charter School

Comfort Station: Raymond James Jim Baker and Don Juan Mexican Grill

Safety: Raymond James Jim Baker and Wilmer R Schultz Inc

Scarecrow Trail: New Tripoli Bank and Emmaus Theatre

Supporting: Top Star Express, Evening Sun Entertainment, Ott Consulting, and EnviroTech Pest

About the Chamber: The mission of The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce is to improve the economy and quality of life in the Lehigh Valley Metropolitan Area. We accomplish this through business-to-business networking events and marketing products, affinity programs and exclusive, money saving member benefits, training programs, government affairs initiatives and public policy advocacy, and community development enterprises. With nearly 5,000 members who employ more than 200,000, the Chamber is the largest in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in the top ten nationwide.

Information provided to TVL by:
Ashley Lorah
Emmaus Main Street Manager
Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce
https://www.lehighvalleychamber.org/

Come one, come all to the Farewell to Summer festival on Saturday September 18, 2021 from 11am-4pm.
