Lamont McClure and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) announce that County Council approved $2,798,100 for 87 Grow NORCO grants at their October 7th meeting. Grow NORCO Program grants are available to Northampton County non- profit organizations and municipalities. Grants of up to $50,000 can be used for capital improvements, fa\u00e7ade programs, operations, community planning and municipal Police Department support.<\/p>\n

All projects from this latest round of funding must be completed by December 31, 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe County of Northampton appreciates all the work our local non-profit organizations, municipalities and police departments have done throughout the pandemic,\u201d says Lamont McClure. \u201cIt\u2019s important that the County continues to support their contributions to our public health and economic development.\u201d<\/p>\n
