She serves on Good Shepherd\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodshepherdrehab.org\/about-good-shepherd\/leadership\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.goodshepherdrehab.org\/about-good-shepherd\/leadership\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1634678857071000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGXQWevs32Pwn2QjdGQ4f1Wh5sKUA\">Senior Leadership Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A native of Puerto Rico, Gonzalez Parrilla arrived at Good Shepherd and the Lehigh Valley from Brooks Rehabilitation in Florida, where she served as Vice President of Operations for the Brooks &#8211; Halifax Health partnership. In that role, Gonzalez Parrilla oversaw the strategic direction, fiscal management and day-to-day operations of the physician practice, a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, adult and pediatric outpatient services and acute-care therapy departments.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Brooks in 2016, Gonzalez Parrilla held positions of increasing responsibility in a 14-year career with Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Meyers, Florida. Gonzalez Parrilla began as a staff occupational therapist and progressed to director of\u00a0quality and\u00a0education. She led efforts to develop quality, safety and patient experience initiatives across the post-acute network.<\/p>\n<p>Gonzalez Parrilla is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, with a degree in occupational therapy.
