ALLENTOWN, PA <\/strong>– Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center will welcome legendary HIV\/AIDS activist Peter Staley for a community conversation with center executive director Adrian Shanker.<\/p>\n Staley is on a national book tour following the recent release of his highly-anticipated memoir \u201cNever Silent.\u201d<\/p>\n Staley was an early leader in HIV-led direct action organizations, including ACT UP New York and Treatment Action Group, which he founded. Staley also founded Prep4All. He is featured in the 2012 Emmy-nominated documentary \u201cHow to Survive a Plague.\u201d<\/p>\n Staley will speak in conversation with Adrian Shanker, who in addition to his leadership at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, serves as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV\/AIDS in the Biden-Harris administration.<\/p>\n \u201cNever Silent\u201d details Staley\u2019s life in activism and includes a foreword from Anderson Cooper.
