{"id":10921,"date":"2016-01-22T15:22:31","date_gmt":"2016-01-22T20:22:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=10921"},"modified":"2016-01-22T15:22:31","modified_gmt":"2016-01-22T20:22:31","slug":"burkholder-hvac-dedicates-portion-of-maintenance-agreement-income-to-support-meals-on-wheels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=10921","title":{"rendered":"Burkholder HVAC Dedicates Portion Of Maintenance Agreement Income To Support Meals On Wheels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Customer Reviews On Social Media Also Generate Donations<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Emmaus, Pa<\/em>. \u2013<\/strong> Burkholder\u2019s Heating and Air Conditioning has kicked off the New Year with a new way of giving back to the community by helping Meals on Wheels raise almost $7,000 to provide nourishment for seniors and other homebound residents throughout the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Burkholder\u2019s HVAC will donate one meal &#8212; or $7.96 &#8212; for every new Customer Maintenance Agreement signed between January 1 and <span data-term=\"goog_1588703185\">March 11, 2016<\/span>. And to bolster the offer, Burkholder\u2019s will also donate a meal for every existing customer or renewing maintenance customer who completes a Google, Bing, Yahoo, or Yelp review of the company, said President Bob Burkholder.<\/p>\n<p>To qualify for the donation, completed reviews must be copied and emailed to MOW@burkhvac.com or posted on Burkholder\u2019s Facebook wall.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mealsonwheelslc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Meals on Wheels<\/a> (MOW) has been serving the local community since 1971 and has delivered more than 6 million meals since its founding. On average, the agency serves about 450 clients each day with 675 meals delivered by generous volunteers who donate more than 37,000 hours per year. In our community there are approximately 877 unduplicated MOW clients, and with your help Burkholder\u2019s hopes to provide a meal for each of them by raising a total of $6,980.92.<\/p>\n<p>Giving back to the community is part of the Burkholder business philosophy.
