The Parade will be held <span data-term=\"goog_232097973\">March 20, 2016<\/span>, departing from the Allentown Fairgrounds at <span data-term=\"goog_232097974\">2:00 pm<\/span>.\u00a0 The Parade events will kick off <span data-term=\"goog_232097975\">Sunday, February 21, 2016<\/span> at the annual Fundraiser event being held at Christopher\u2019s at the Columbian Home located at 1519 Greenleaf Street, Allentown PA.\u00a0 The 2016 Parade theme is \u201cAll Are Invited\u201d and is a welcome to all in the Lehigh Valley to join the events held throughout Allentown from <span data-term=\"goog_232097976\">February 21 through March 20, 2016<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Food Drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Parade is hosting a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.\u00a0 The Parade is partnering with several local businesses and the Minsi Trails Council to help collect food the day of the Parade.\u00a0 Members of Cub Scout troops will be marching behind the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley truck in the Parade to collect food brought to the Parade by spectators. The flag raising event is to commemorate the contributions of those of Irish heritage who helped to form and grow Allentown and the greater Allentown area.\u00a0 A pipe salute and brief remarks by John A. Chaya, President of the Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade Committee, Inc. and the Honorable Edwin Pawlowski, Mayor of the City of Allentown will mark the occasion.\u00a0 City Hall is located at 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coronation Celebration \u2013 <span data-term=\"goog_232097995\">March 18, 2016<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Steve and Angela Faidley will be crowned the 2016 King and Queen of the Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade at the Coronation Dinner and Celebration to be held <span data-term=\"goog_232097996\">March 18<\/span> at the Agricultural Hall Annex at the Allentown Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The dinner will be held at <span data-term=\"goog_232097997\">6:00 pm<\/span> prior to the Coronation Celebration.\u00a0 Dinner tickets are $30 per person and must be purchased in advance at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allentownstpatricksparade.com\/\">www.allentownstpatricksparade.com<\/a> or emailing stpatstickets@aol.com.\u00a0 Dinner tickets include entrance to the Coronation Celebration immediately following dinner. data-term=\"goog_232098007\">Sunday, March 20, 2016<\/span> along the Parade Route.\u00a0 Registration is open through <span data-term=\"goog_232098008\">March 6, 2016<\/span> or until the limit of 1,000 runners has been reached.\u00a0 $33 per person registration fee.\u00a0 There is no day of event registration.\u00a0 Start time is <span data-term=\"goog_232098009\">12:45 pm<\/span>.\u00a0 The decorating\/porch party contest to be judge by an independent person chosen by the Parade committee.\u00a0 The theme of this year\u2019s contest is \u201cYou are Invited\u201d.\u00a0 Prizes will be awarded to the \u201cbest porch party\u201d and \u201cbest decorated house\u201d along the Parade route.\u00a0 The Parade route will form at the Fairgrounds track near the Liberty and 17<sup>th<\/sup> Streets gate ( Main Gate vicinity) The Parade will proceed West on Liberty, turn North on 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street, Wets on Tilghman to 25<sup>th<\/sup> Street, South on 25<sup>th<\/sup> Street to Liberty Street then East on Liberty Street and disband a the Fairgrounds 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street gate.\u00a0 All homes along the Parade route are encouraged to participate.\u00a0 Prizes will be awarded immediately upon conclusion of the Parade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Massed Bands Exhibition \u2013 <span data-term=\"goog_232098012\">March 20, 2016<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Massed Bands Exhibition will take place immediately before the Parade at <span data-term=\"goog_232098013\">1:30 PM<\/span> on North 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street between Tilghman and Liberty Streets.\u00a0 All pipe bands will perform in unison under the direction of Drum Major Jason Litz.\u00a0 After the Parade the pipe bands will proceed to a Pub Crawl Sponsoring pub to perform additional Parade route will form at the Fairgrounds track near the Liberty and 19<sup>th<\/sup> Streets gate (Main Gate vicinity).\u00a0 The Parade will proceed West on Liberty, turn North on 19<sup>th<\/sup>
