The conference returns to the Lehigh Valley for the first time in 16 years.<\/em><\/p>\n

ALLENTOWN, PA <\/strong>– Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center will bring Pride organizations from 11 northeastern states and Washington, D.C. to the Lehigh Valley this year for the 2022 Northeast Regional Pride (NERP) Organizers conference<\/strong>, the regional conference for InterPride, the International Association of Pride Organizers. This conference supports Pride festivals in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington D.C.<\/p>\n

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center was unanimously selected to host the 2022 regional conference. This is the second time the conference will be in the Lehigh Valley and marks the first time that Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center will be the host organization<\/strong>. Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley, which merged with Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center in 2017, hosted the conference in 2006 in Bethlehem, PA.<\/p>\n

“We are thrilled to be a part of the 2022 Northeast Regional Pride Organizers conference here in Lehigh Valley for a second time,\u201d said Alex Michaels, president and CEO of Discover Lehigh Valley. “Lehigh Valley has and will continue to support the LGBTQ+ community and welcomes all to experience just what the area has to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center is so excited to host the 2022 Northeast Regional Pride Organizers conference, as we showcase the growing success of Lehigh Valley Pride and work with our sibling Pride festivals across the Northeast to continue producing festivals in celebrations of LGBTQ+ arts and equity,\u201d said Adrian Shanker, founder and executive director of Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. \u201cIt is an honor to highlight the incredible work that our center does here in the Lehigh Valley and to share it with Pride organizations across the northeastern United States.\u201d<\/p>\n
