BETHLEHEM, Pa.\u2014 A new year means new music, arts and food events at\u00a0ArtsQuest<\/a>. The nonprofit arts organization, dedicated to providing access to exceptional artistic, cultural and educational experiences, is planning a busy 2022 filled with annual events the Lehigh Valley has come to love, along with new experiences.<\/p>\n

ArtsQuest\u2019s flagship festival,\u00a0Musikfest<\/a><\/strong>, will return\u00a0Aug. 5-14<\/strong>. This year\u2019s \u2018fest, returning for its 39th year, will feature hundreds of free performances throughout the City of Bethlehem.\u00a0The 2022 poster<\/a>, by renowned contemporary artist Bart Cooper, has already been unveiled. Tickets are on sale now for headliners\u00a0Kelsea Ballerini<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0ALABAMA<\/a>\u00a0who will perform on the Wind Creek Steel Stage. Additional performers and details will be announced throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Outdoor concerts are also back at the\u00a0SteelStacks<\/a>. Get ready for a full season of the\u00a0Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks Summer Concert Series<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0presented by Coordinated Health, now part of Lehigh Valley Health Network, weekends from\u00a0May 20-September 10<\/strong>. Also, this summer, mark your calendars for the new\u00a0ReggaeFest<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sat. July 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Save the date this spring for a reimagined\u00a0Kentucky Derby Watch Party<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sat., May 7<\/strong>. This summer\u00a0Juneteenth<\/strong>\u00a0will return to the SteelStacks campus for a full day of community events on\u00a0Sat., June 18<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a1Sabor! Latin Festival<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will also return for three days of sizzling music, food and fun\u00a0June 24-26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Foodies rejoice! ArtsQuest has a full plate of events including a new\u00a0TacoFest<\/strong>, set for\u00a0Sun., July 10<\/strong>. Enjoy dinner and a show at\u00a0Palette & Pour<\/a>, the new full-service bar and quick-service kitchen located on the first floor of the ArtsQuest Center, or order some food and drinks while enjoying a film at the\u00a0Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas<\/a>. Start making plans for brunch, featuring new chef\u2019s creations, in honor of\u00a0Easter<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sun., April 17<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Mother\u2019s Day<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sun., May 8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Appreciate the arts during the\u00a0Glass Blast and Art Auction<\/strong>, a gala featuring demos and artwork, on\u00a0Fri., April 22<\/strong>. Gear up for a family-friendly celebration of the arts during the revamped\u00a0Banana Factory Block Party<\/strong>, formerly known as the SouthSide Arts and Music Festival, on\u00a0May 6-7<\/strong>. Enjoy a marathon nine hours of laughs during The\u00a09th Annual SteelStacks Improv Comedy Festival<\/strong><\/a>, returning in-person on\u00a0Sat., Jan. 29<\/strong>. Display your cinematic talents, submissions are now being accepting for\u00a0Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0which will return in-person\u00a0Sat., April 9<\/strong>.\u00a0InVision<\/strong><\/a>, a month-long celebration of all things photography, will also return in\u00a0November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Celebrate and honor those who have served our country with patriotic events, presented by Embassy Bank, planned for\u00a0Memorial Day May 28-30<\/strong>,\u00a0Flag Day<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sat., June 11<\/strong>, the\u00a0Fourth of July<\/strong>,\u00a0Patriot Day<\/strong>\u00a0on Sun., Sept. 11 and\u00a0Veterans Day<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Fri., Nov. 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After a\u00a0record-breaking event in 2021<\/a>,\u00a0Oktoberfest<\/strong>, presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE), will return\u00a0Sept. 30-Oct. 2<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Oct. 7-9<\/strong>. The 12th annual festival will feature brew samples, live music, local artisans as well as popular activities like the dachshund dog parade and the Pennsylvania State Steinholding Championship.<\/p>\n

Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem<\/a>, presented by Univest Financial\u00ae, will return for five weekends beginning\u00a0Nov. 18-20<\/strong>,\u00a025-27<\/strong>\u00a0through\u00a0Dec. 1-4<\/strong>,\u00a08-11<\/strong>,\u00a015-18<\/strong>. Named one of the top holiday markets in the world by Travel + Leisure and one of the top holiday markets in North America by USA TODAY\u2019s 10Best Readers\u2019 Choice, Christkindlmarkt is known for its unique holiday shopping experience featuring dozens of artisans offering thousands of unique, handmade gifts and holiday items.\u00a0PEEPSFEST\u00ae<\/a><\/strong>, the sweetest way to celebrate the new year, will return\u00a0Dec. 30 and 31<\/strong>\u00a0in partnership with Just Born Quality Confections.<\/p>\n
