BETHLEHEM, Pa.\u2014\u00a0ArtsQuest<\/a>\u00a0is proud to welcome\u00a0Poison<\/a>\u00a0to its flagship festival,\u00a0Musikfest<\/a>, in 2022. The group\u2019s original members (Bret Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall and Rikki Rockett) will rock the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza on\u00a0Sun., Aug. 7<\/strong>. This show was originally scheduled for Musikfest in 2020. Previously sold tickets will be honored, ArtsQuest\u2019s box office will be reaching out to all ticket holders via email. Member access begins on\u00a0Tues., Feb. 1<\/strong>\u00a0and the remaining tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m.\u00a0Fri., Feb. 4<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0musikfest.org<\/a>. Poison, known for their hit songs \u201cEvery Rose Has Its Thorn,\u201d \u201cNothin\u2019 But A Good Time\u201d \u201cUnskinny Bop\u201d and more, started their journey playing in Pennsylvania bars and then the Los Angeles club scene. Their early album \u201cLook What The Cat Dragged In\u201d sold more than three million copies. The album \u201cOpen Up and Say\u2026Ah!\u201d sold more than eight million copies out of the gate and their \u201cFlesh & Blood\u201d album went multi-platinum. Lead singer Bret Michaels, a Pennsylvania native, also gained fame through his smash hit television show \u201cRock Of Love\u201d and his winning season on \u201cCelebrity Apprentice.\u201d Michaels was awarded Humanitarian Of The Year at the 2019 Hollywood Christmas Parade. His philanthropic work includes his Life Rocks Foundation which supports causes such as diabetes awareness, and fundraising for children with cancer, veterans\u2019 organizations and animal rescues.<\/p>\n

Country music superstar\u00a0Kelsea Ballerini<\/a>\u00a0is set to perform on Thurs., Aug. 11 and GRAMMY-award winning country music band\u00a0ALABAMA<\/a>\u00a0will take the stage on Sat., Aug. 13. Additional announcements will be shared throughout the year.\u00a0The new Musikfest poster<\/a>, by renowned fine artist Bart Cooper, was unveiled in Nov. Overall, an estimated 1,127,000 people attended Musikfest in 2021 and the 11-day festival had an estimated $67 million impact on the Lehigh Valley Region of Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
