BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2013\u00a0ArtsQuest<\/a>\u00a0and media partner\u00a0La Mega Radio<\/a>\u00a0are excited to welcome Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n to\u00a0Musikfest<\/a>\u00a0in 2022. Ta\u00f1\u00f3n will headline the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza on\u00a0Sun., August 14<\/strong>, the closing night of the 39th<\/sup>\u00a0annual flagship \u2018fest. Tickets will go on sale to\u00a0ArtsQuest members<\/a>\u00a0beginning\u00a0Tues., March 29\u00a0<\/strong>and to the public on\u00a0Fri., April 1<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0musikfest.org<\/a>. Olga Teresa Ta\u00f1\u00f3n Ort\u00edz is an award-winning Puerto Rican recording artist. Throughout the course of her career, she has earned two GRAMMY awards, four Latin GRAMMY Awards and 30 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. She has been honored by the Sal\u00f3n of Fame for Latin Singer-Songwriters with the \u201cLa Voz de La Musa\u201d award and the prestigious Hispanic Award for the Arts awarded in Washington D.C. Ta\u00f1\u00f3n holds the record for the most top 10 hits by a female artist on Billboard Tropical Airplay. Her 14th studio album, Senderos de Amor, contains danceable and romantic styles with all the optimistic flavor that has characterized her with each of her musical proposals. The single \u201cAs\u00ed Es El Amor\u201d with Wisin has taken her to the top of the Billboard Tropical and Latin Pop Airplay charts. Ta\u00f1\u00f3n is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has participated in the charity songs, “Somos El Mundo,\u201d “El \u00daltimo Adi\u00f3s” and “Nuestro Himno.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musikfest will take place Aug. 5 \u2013 14, 2022. This year\u2019s lineup includes\u00a0Willie Nelson & Family<\/a>,\u00a0Poison<\/a>,\u00a0Counting Crows<\/a>,\u00a0Ziggy Marley \u2013 A Live Tribute To His Father<\/a>,\u00a0Kelsea Ballerini<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0ALABAMA<\/a>. Additional announcements will be shared throughout the year.\u00a0The new Musikfest poster<\/a>, by renowned fine artist Bart Cooper, was unveiled in Nov. Overall, an estimated 1,127,000 people attended Musikfest in 2021 and the 11-day festival had an estimated $67 million impact on the Lehigh Valley Region of Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
