To date, thirty-six historic sites have signed on to open their doors for free tours, activities and programs for visitors of all ages.\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event, which originally began as a one-day event in 2019, has quickly grown in popularity. By the second year, it turned into a weekend event and now it&#8217;s a month-long event.<\/p>\n<p>Passport to History Month is a celebration of local history, stories, and the community that brings Lehigh Valley history to life.\u00a0The event gives an opportunity for visitors, regardless of family size or income, to explore local history through a variety of museum tours, interactive exhibits, children\u2019s activities, and more.\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The greater Lehigh Valley area has an incredibly rich and diverse history. Lehigh Valley Passport to History is proud that our partners are making historic sites and museums accessible to everyone by providing free admission during their featured weekend.
