\nDeputy Director of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Mark Hartney announced that he\u2019s leaving Northampton County on May 20th to pursue another job in public service.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has been an honor and a privilege to serve the residents of Northampton County,\u201d says Mark Hartney. \u201cI\u2019m very proud of everything DCED was able to accomplish over the last seven-and-a-half years.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr. Hartney\u2019s projects included systemizing the grant system and blight remediation, such as the Glendon Hotel. Mr. Hartney began working for the county in December 2014.<\/p>\n
