{"id":112444,"date":"2022-05-29T11:26:29","date_gmt":"2022-05-29T15:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=112444"},"modified":"2022-05-29T11:26:29","modified_gmt":"2022-05-29T15:26:29","slug":"live-at-the-falls-returns-june-2nd-in-downtown-easton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=112444","title":{"rendered":"Live at the Falls Returns June 2nd in Downtown Easton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The free live music series kicks off in June and runs through the end of September.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Easton, PA &#8211; May 27, 2022 &#8211; <\/strong>It\u2019s not summer in Easton until Live at the Falls is back. The nonprofit Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP)\u2019s weekly outdoor concert series kicks off June 2 in Downtown Easton.<\/p>\n<p>Live at the Falls, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, is a free, outdoor music series that will run 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings, June through September. Concerts will be held at Scott Park in Downtown Easton. Food trucks will open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 p.m. Listen to great music, and enjoy fresh fare from food trucks in a picturesque setting by the riverside. Scott Park has a kids playground area, and GEDP will have lawn games set up.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the season, Porters\u2019 Pub will host a libations tent featuring wine, craft beer as well as Kentucky and Moscow mules. Guests can also enjoy treats and sweets from rotating guest vendors.<\/p>\n<p>Live at the Falls started in 2016, and is one of the many free events that GEDP is able to offer throughout the year because of money raised at fundraisers, including <a href=\"https:\/\/support.eastonpartnership.org\/event\/rose-on-the-river-2022\/e397109\">Ros\u00e9 on the River<\/a> (a ros\u00e9 wine and oyster tasting event set for June 11, 2022) and <a href=\"https:\/\/pabaconfest.com\/\">PA Bacon Fest<\/a> (an annual feast set for Nov. 5-6, 2022).<\/p>\n<p>Free parking will be available in the lots across from Scott Park, thanks to Riverstar Properties LLC and Florio Perucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton &amp; Taylor, LLC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This year\u2019s Live at the Falls Music Stage, presented by IBEW Local 102, will feature:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>JUNE 2: A Few Good Men of PA<\/li>\n<li>JUNE 9: We May Be Right: A Billy Joel Tribute<\/li>\n<li>JUNE 16: ROI and The Secret People<\/li>\n<li>JUNE 23: Zaire<\/li>\n<li>JUNE 30: The Walter &amp; Doug Band<\/li>\n<li>JULY 7: Silas Powell Band<\/li>\n<li>JULY 14: Nate Clendenen Bluegrass Brothers<\/li>\n<li>JULY 21: Nora Jane Struthers<\/li>\n<li>JULY 28: To Be Announced<\/li>\n<li>AUGUST 4: Joyous<\/li>\n<li>AUGUST 11: Acoustic Kitty Project<\/li>\n<li>AUGUST 18: Cass and The Bailout Crew<\/li>\n<li>AUGUST 26: To Be Announced<\/li>\n<li>SEPTEMBER 1: &#8211; Hector Rosado Y Su Orq Hache<\/li>\n<li>SEPTEMBER 8: &#8211; Hot4Robot<\/li>\n<li>SEPTEMBER 15: &#8211; BC Blue<\/li>\n<li>SEPTEMBER 22: &#8211; To Be Announced<\/li>\n<li>SEPTEMBER 29: &#8211; Orchestra 360<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The series is sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network and IBEW Local 102. Music fans can catch two live performances each week, at Easton Public Market, as part of the Acoustic Kitchen series, sponsored by IBEW Local 102. Enjoy tunes 6-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
