The contributions directly benefit NBM’s Transitional Housing Program (THP) and will help the organization continue to provide housing to clients in need.

The funding supports the ongoing makeover of units in THP. Building updates include new floors, paint, and general refurbishing of the spaces. Volunteer groups from St. Luke’s University Health Network have already joined the renovation process, creating a brighter, inspiring, and encouraging environment for our guests. Additional volunteer groups will provide ongoing updates throughout the summer.

The program is one of the few facilities in the region that supports family-based candidates, accepting any sex, gender, and multi-parent households. Residents receive immediate housing assistance with the goal of finding permanent housing.

“New Bethany is committed to making its Transitional Housing Program a home for the families

who live there rather than an institutional setting through which they pass,” stated Veronne

Demesyeux, associate executive director for the organization. “Not only are families treated with the respect they deserve, but they feel valued and considered worthy of the investment. This is crucial to building the confidence and strength they need to end their homelessness.”

The following organizations provided donations that directly contributed to NBM’s transitional

housing redevelopment plan:

Grow NORCO NHC – $50,000

K.
