The\u00a0focus\u00a0of the\u00a0workshop\u00a0is\u00a0business\u00a0success\u00a0factors.\u00a0During\u00a0a\u00a0farm tour with\u00a0market\u00a0manager,\u00a0Anita\u00a0Harrison,\u00a0and owner, Ed Weaver, we will discuss several business aspects of the orchard and farm market including pricing products for profit in turbulent times, staffing challenges, and creating dazzling market displays. We will also learn from owners and staff about the farm\u2019s humble beginnings up to its current status.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n
The\u00a0roots\u00a0of\u00a0Weaver’s\u00a0Orchard\u00a0Inc.\u00a0grow\u00a0deep\u00a0in\u00a0our\u00a0local\u00a0southeastern\u00a0Pennsylvania\u00a0community\u00a0since\u00a0the\u00a01930s.\u00a0In 2022, Weaver’s Orchard celebrates their 90th year in business, with Ed Weaver at the helm since the ’90s. Weaver’s Orchard has a pick-your-own fruit operation, a wholesale division, and a recently expanded farm\u00a0market.\u00a0Weaver’s\u00a0Orchard\u00a0also\u00a0hosts\u00a0family-friendly\u00a0agriculture\u00a0experiences\u00a0and\u00a0events on the farm. Ed Weaver and several family members currently run the farm. Their vision is to “grow our fruit with your health in mind.”<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n
