Mother Nature took a hint from Bob Marley&#8217;s song, &#8220;Sun is Shining&#8221;, and she kept that sun shining.\u00a0 The peaceful aspect of the festival was all the love.\u00a0 People smiling,\u00a0 happy,\u00a0 dancing,\u00a0 all ages, from all walks of life. Jamaica was in the house. So many wonderful people.\u00a0 People were happy to be outside.\u00a0 It was a beautiful day,\u00a0 a beautiful day at SteelStacks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><div class=\"su-image-carousel caused a lot of chaos and havoc.\u00a0 Life in general can be truly difficult. There are so many people struggling with so much in life.\u00a0 To be able to attend a free music festival is amazing.\u00a0 The worries people felt today disappeared for a while.\u00a0 The sounds of Jamaica, and the unparalleled talent that took to the stage,\u00a0 and delivered one amazing song after the next, made some completely forget.\u00a0 People were in the moment.\u00a0 That&#8217;s quite rare today.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Promise Neighborhoods of The Lehigh Valley was in attendance, and I met Jean Garcia,\u00a0 and several members who were there to show support to End Gun Violence.\u00a0 They were doing an amazing job with everyone.\u00a0 They were one of the sponsors and Jean Garcia said,\u00a0 when she found out Space Kamp was part of this,\u00a0 she knew they had to help out.\u00a0 They had members playing football with the kids,\u00a0 people dancing together,\u00a0 they introduced Space Kamp.\u00a0 It was one of the most interactive,\u00a0 positive festivals I&#8217;ve been to in a long time.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>(\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/promiseneighborhoodslv.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/promiseneighborhoodslv.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1656951902780000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0nN-vxAyqFqP098V2-sC7Z\">https:\/\/<wbr \/>promiseneighborhoodslv.org\/<\/a>\u00a0)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>JoJo Mac performed.\u00a0 She is absolutely so talented.\u00a0 Her voice is a gift.\u00a0 She sang and dedicated songs to the audience.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Maxamilly performed.\u00a0 That was such a great show<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Red Fox and Screechy Dan performed.\u00a0 They made everyone happy.\u00a0 They performed and had the audience singing and participating.\u00a0 ICONS!!!\u00a0 Just Icons!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>They had performers all day.\u00a0 Amazing artist.\u00a0 LEGENDS,\u00a0 including Sister Nancy with Solomonic Sound. Sister Nancy received several standing ovation and mostly everyone just stood out of respect and love for her music.\u00a0 Sister Nancy deserves all the love.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Trouble City All Stars did an incredible job.\u00a0 They had people on their feet.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Space Kamp came out and performed some songs from their new album,\u00a0 &#8220;Butterfly Effect&#8221;, they had a crowd and they are homegrown,\u00a0 hometown,\u00a0 Lehigh Valley staples and loved. Adoo and Oskee made it clear that spreading love was the message of the day. The Rebel Hippies Rabbit was taking photos with everyone. Adoo and Oskee are good people. The crowd rushed over to the Highmark Stage right after Sister Nancy finished her incredible perfomance.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lehigh Valley&#8217;s own were in attendance and so many showed up to show support, and see friends and family. Space Kamp&#8217;s energy was next-level.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tropidelic was the last act before DJ Bez Musiq. tThe crowd was thrilled. They had so many amazing vendors. Island Noodles was there, they had an authentic Jamaican food stand with a neverending line.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Kona Ice was in attendance.\u00a0 They we&#8217;re doing shaved ice.\u00a0 It was great.\u00a0 Island Noodles was there,\u00a0 and they have vegan options.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The ladies that own Paparazzi Jewelry are so nice.\u00a0 We talked about earrings,\u00a0 and how I always lose mine at concerts.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Isasuma Art had some of the most beautiful handmade jewelry, handbags,\u00a0 and more.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was held at The Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks.\u00a0 (And,\u00a0 yes I just was there last night for (the)\u00a0 Melvins show at Musikfest Cafe.\u00a0 You would learn later on that they were checking out SteelStacks via Instagram.\u00a0 That was pure awesomeness.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The One Earth Reggae Festival was Presented by Promise Neighborhoods of The Lehigh Valley.\u00a0 (I want to say Hi to friends and to My new friends and to Gilbert who was super chill. He&#8217;s a photographer and had each show covered.)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This festival was so more than music and food.\u00a0 It was bringing together community in times that are difficult right now.\u00a0 There is a lot going on in the world yet a community that will show up means a lot.\u00a0 They did such a great job. I think Oskee and Adoo are right when they say keep spreading the love and high vibrations.\u00a0 The world needs that love,\u00a0 it needs community.
