Calluori has been with the city since 2013 originally serving as Operations Manager for the Department of Community & Economic Development.\u00a0 She became planning director in October 2015.\u00a0 Calluori holds Masters Degrees in City Planning and Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Before coming to Allentown, Calluori served as Director, Bureau of Public Health Preparedness in the Pennsylvania Department of Health and held management positions in the Philadelphia Health Department.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cShannon reported directly to Sara,\u201d said Pawlowski.\u00a0 \u201cShe is very familiar with the goals and objectives of the department. She will do a fine job.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am very pleased to have the opportunity to lead the department through this time of transition,\u201d said Calluori.\u00a0 \u201cI look forward to partnering with residents and business owners to continue to identify and implement community and economic development initiatives throughout the city.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Calluori also serves as Acting Executive Director of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Allentown and Acting Interim Executive Director of the Allentown Neighborhood Improvement Zone Development Authority.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
