Lehigh Valley, Pa – Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward Program is offering the third annual tree and shrub sale this fall in 22 counties across the state.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

This year’s sale, which serves as a fundraiser for the program, offers 28 varieties of trees and shrubs that can be picked up in September or October (dates and times vary by location). Whether you are seeking trees for privacy, foliage, shade, attracting pollinators, or want something beautiful to look at, we have a variety of trees and shrubs that will meet your needs and make an excellent addition to your property!<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The Native trees and shrub order runs through August 31, 2022. For more details and ordering information, visit\u00a0https:\/\/extension.psu.edu\/mws-tree-sale<\/a>\u00a0 or call 1-877-345-0691.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Pick-up location will be offered in the following counties: Allegheny County:\u00a0 Allison Park and Bethel Park, Berks County: Leesport, Bucks County: Jamison, Chester County: West Brandywine Township, Cumberland County: Carlisle, Dauphin County: Borough of Dauphin, Delaware County: Springfield, Erie County: City of Erie, Lackawanna County: Scranton, Lancaster County: City of Lancaster, Lebanon County: City of Lebanon, McKean County: Smethport, Monroe County: Stroudsburg, Montgomery County: Collegeville, Northampton County: Borough of Northampton, Philadelphia: Elkins Park, Schuylkill County: Tamaqua, Sullivan County: Dushore, Susquehanna County: Montrose, Westmoreland County: Greensburg, York County: City of York.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The Master Watershed Steward Program educates and empowers volunteers to protect environmental resources. After receiving 40+ hours of training, Master Watershed Stewards give back to the community by offering educational opportunities, collecting community science data, organizing clean-ups, working on wildlife habitat and stream restoration projects, and more!<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
