{"id":113636,"date":"2022-09-17T12:11:11","date_gmt":"2022-09-17T16:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=113636"},"modified":"2022-09-17T12:11:11","modified_gmt":"2022-09-17T16:11:11","slug":"the-streets-of-the-bronx-wandered-into-easton-pa-by-janel-spiegel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=113636","title":{"rendered":"The Streets of the Bronx Wandered Into Easton,  Pa.  &#8211;  by: Janel Spiegel"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>by: Janel Spiegel<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Bronx Wanderers wandered into Easton,\u00a0 Pa tonight as friends and I attended the concert at the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton,\u00a0 Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Easton has been thriving.\u00a0 I will say,\u00a0 I was not one hundred percent familiar with The Bronx Wanderers which made me want to see the show even more.\u00a0 I do love New York,\u00a0 music,\u00a0 and The State Theatre has become one of my favorite places to visit.\u00a0 It has that true theatre feel to it.\u00a0 You can see an Opera there,\u00a0 watch a film,\u00a0 a concert,\u00a0 and a play while being in Awe of this iconic establishment in the downtown heart of Easton.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Easton State Theatre has seen so many acts pass through over the years.\u00a0 Tonight&#8217;s act performed songs from a variety of artists,\u00a0 when I saw a variety,\u00a0 think Frank Sinatra,\u00a0 Bruno Mars,\u00a0 Queen,\u00a0 Tom Jones,\u00a0 The Backstreet Boys,\u00a0 Elvis Presley,\u00a0 Chuck Berry,\u00a0 the legend DION and the Belmonts,\u00a0 Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons, and more.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Yo&#8217; Vinny,\u00a0 the lead singer and father of the group described them as the Italian Osmond Family.\u00a0 The Bronx Wanderers are made up of: Yo&#8217; Vinny (Lead singer\/Acoustic Guitar),\u00a0 Vin A. (Music Director, Lead Vocals &amp; Backing Vocals,\u00a0 Keyboard,\u00a0 Guitar),\u00a0 Nicmy Stix (Dru. S,\u00a0 Backing Vocals),\u00a0 Joe Bari (Saxophone,\u00a0 Keyboard,\u00a0 Guitar,\u00a0 Backing Vocals),\u00a0 Fernando Tort (Bass &amp; Backing Vocals), and David Braun (Lead Guitar,\u00a0 Backing Vocals).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I found out Vinny started working for Lifesong and Columbia Records.\u00a0 He did that since he was 17 years old.\u00a0 He&#8217;s been doing this forever and has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Billy Joel.\u00a0 He produced albums,\u00a0 made hits and during the show he talked about tye songs and said,\u00a0 each song you hear tonight,\u00a0 is either someone I&#8217;ve had the pleasure yo produce,\u00a0 sing back-up for,\u00a0 or worked with in the record industry during my 30 year career.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He&#8217;s humble,\u00a0 thankful and paid tribute to the Veterans,\u00a0 police,\u00a0 firemen,\u00a0 first responders,\u00a0 nurses, and teachers.\u00a0 He asked the Veterans to stand up.\u00a0 We thank you for your service.\u00a0 They made jokes,\u00a0 talked to the audience, Vinny talked about growing up in the Bronx. Vinny is good friends with iconic actor Chazz Palminteri.\u00a0 They had a conversation back and forth via the screen so Vinny could show how The Bronx Wanderers were formed.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Vinny&#8217;s son and the &#8220;kids&#8221; as Vinny calls them wanted Vinny and The Bronx Wanderers to perform Queen&#8217;s &#8220;Bohemian Rhapsody&#8221;. They performed with Vin A. doing lead vocals and if they were the legendary Bronx Bombers,\u00a0 they knocked it out of the park. &#8220;Bohemian Rhapsody&#8221; by Queen is one of those songs that has become untouchable.\u00a0 It&#8217;s beyond iconic.
