This year\u2019s Headline Chef is Karnail Singh of Tandoor Grill in downtown Easton. Highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More than 120 vendors, including merchandise and crafters, prepared foods, packaged foods, fresh garlic vendors, and service providers. See the full vendor list here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastongarlicfest.com\/vendors\">https:\/\/www.eastongarlicfest.com\/vendors<\/a><\/li>\n<li>3 Mayors Cook-off (Saturday at 1 pm at the Stinkin\u2019 Culinary Stage) \u2013 Easton Mayor Sal Panto will partner with Easton Garlic Fest Headline Chef Karnail Singh of Tandoor Grill to take on Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk and Phillipsburg Mayor Todd Tersigni and their chefs.<\/li>\n<li>Mystery Basket Cook-off \u2013 (Saturday at 3 pm at the Stinkin\u2019 Culinary Stage) &#8211; Executive Chef Cristian Gonzalez of The Shelby and Hampton Winds Culinary Instructor Tyler Baxter of Northampton Community College are engaging in a garlic-filled smackdown in this judged competition. Each chef will receive an identical mystery basket filled with fresh, local ingredients chosen by Easton Farmers&#8217; Market Manager Megan McBride. They will have 30 minutes to create a garlicky meal using only those ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Chef Cooking Demonstration \u2013 (Sunday at 1 pm at the Stinkin\u2019 Culinary Stage) \u2013 Watch a mouthwatering chef-demonstration of epic garlic proportions with free samples (while they last).<\/li>\n<li>NEW: Chef\u2019s Choice Cook-off &#8211; (Sunday at 3 pm at the Stinkin\u2019 Culinary Stage) \u2013 Executive Chef Abe Lopez of Stoke takes on a secret guest chef in a garlic head-to-head battle. Watch and see who can wow the judges.<\/li>\n<li>Three stages of free live music (both days) &#8211; The Sizzlin\u2019 HOT Latin Music Stage at Northampton &amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Streets, the School of Rock Stage at N. 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and Spring Garden Streets, and the Main Stage at 3rd &amp; Ferry Streets. It is then topped with your choice of garlic pesto or creamy garlic sauce. Cheese wheel and pasta are provided by sponsor Vicidomini USA.<\/li>\n<li>Gastric Garlic People\u2019s Choice Contest &#8211; $12 (tickets at the door; cash only)\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Noon &#8211; 2:30 pm on Saturday; located in the Pungent Plaza<\/li>\n<li>400 people will sample and judge the best garlic dish created by chefs from local restaurants. Participants determine which chef will take home the coveted garlic bulb winner&#8217;s plaque.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Dangerous Desserts People\u2019s Choice Contest &#8211; $12 (tickets at the door, cash only)\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Noon &#8211; 2:30 pm on Sunday; located in the Pungent Plaza<\/li>\n<li>Be one of 200 people to sample and judge the best garlic dessert created by chefs from local restaurants. Participants determine which chef creates the best dish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Beer Tent sponsored by The Alfero Company and hosted by 3<sup>rd<\/sup> &amp; Ferry Fish Market \u2013 featuring a selection of draft and canned beer, and also garlic Bloody Marys, fall spiced margaritas, and blueberry honey red sangrias.<\/li>\n<li>Little Stinkers Row at N. 3rd &amp; Church Streets \u2013 moon bounce, obstacle course and a trackless train, plus games of chance, and a face painter (activities are fee based). Free activities include balloon animals with Balloons the Clown on Sunday from 1-4 pm, and make your own paper garlic hat (both days). At 11 am both days, kids can sign up for a chance to participate in the Culinary Kids Cooking Contest, which starts at 2 pm.
