The Northampton County divisions of Farmland Preservation and Conservation District, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, the USDA and the Natural Resource Conservation Service, will conduct a Soil Health Field Walk at Gracedale Cropland Fields, 3310 Penn Allen Road, Nazareth, PA on Tuesday, November 15th<\/sup>\u00a0from 10:00AM \u2013 2:00PM. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.<\/p>\n Local producers and agricultural professionals are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion about obstacles and opportunities to improve soil health, cover cropping methods, farmland preservation opportunities and the results of the September 2022 cover crop aerial seeding.<\/p>\n Those who are interested in attending are requested to RSVP by November 11th<\/sup>\u00a0by calling 610-829-6287 or sending an email to\u00a0rshaw@northamptoncounty.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Participants should dress appropriately for the event and wear boots.
