The Allentown Rescue Mission relies on the event to feed its guests throughout the holidays and to restock its pantry shelves for the upcoming year.<\/p>\n<p>This year there are three opportunities to donate and support homeless men who call the Allentown Rescue Mission home. The Allentown Rescue Mission will accept donations on Friday, November 18<sup>th<\/sup>, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Saturday, November 19<sup>th<\/sup>, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at its 355 Hamilton Street, Allentown location. Mission staff will be available to unload donations.<\/p>\n<p>New this year, the Mission is proud to announce it\u2019s partnering with three Redner\u2019s Market locations to collect donations for one day on Saturday, November 19<sup>th<\/sup>, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The one-stop- shop and drop-off will make donating even more convenient. The participating Redner\u2019s Markets are located at 1201 Airport Road, Allentown, 2180 MacArthur Road, Allentown, and 2300 Lehigh Street, Allentown.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, several local businesses are sponsoring the Thanks for Giving Drive and will collect donated items at their locations from October 17<sup>th<\/sup> until November 18<sup>th<\/sup>. For a list of participating businesses and locations and a list of this year\u2019s most needed items, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allentownrescuemission.org\/events\/t4g\">https:\/\/www.allentownrescuemission.org\/events\/t4g.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Allentown Rescue Mission, a 501c3, 123 bed non-profit homeless shelter has been providing shelter for homeless men since 1900. In addition to emergency shelter services (365 days a year), the Allentown Rescue Mission offers a residential life skills program, and transitional employment on the Clean Team Workforce that\u2019s available for hire to the community. The Clean Team Workforce pays the men above PA state minimum wage\u2013 helping them save a nest egg to transition back into the community.
