BETHLEHEM, PA– The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) will hold an\u00a0Admissions\u00a0Open\u00a0House\u00a0on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.\u00a0 This event is a great\u00a0first step for prospective students and families to learn more about the school’s rigorous curriculum and\u00a0admissions\u00a0process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the school facility and attend breakout sessions with directors of the school’s various artistic departments.\u00a0 Doors will\u00a0open\u00a0at 5:45 PM for tours, and the presentation will begin at 6:30 PM.<\/p>\n
An RSVP\u00a0is required and is available on the school website,\u00a0www.CharterArts.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n Charter Arts is an audition-based public charter school that provides a comprehensive curriculum for high school students, grades 9-12, who have a dedicated passion for the creative and performing arts. \u00a0 Students major in one of seven artistic areas: dance, instrumental music, literary arts, production arts, theatre, visual arts, or vocal music.<\/p>\n Any student entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade who resides in Pennsylvania is eligible to audition. The school’s current student body hails from a ten-county region in eastern Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Auditions for the 2023-2024 school year will be held in late January\/early February and are by appointment only.
