The Psychedelic, Reggae and Hip Hop genre-bending duo Space Kamp announces their 6th Annual Holidaze Toy Drive on December 2nd taking place at The Wooden Match in Bethlehem, PA.
\nAll of the donations will be going to Lehigh Valley Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n
Although this is Space Kamp\u2019s 6th Annual event, member Adoo has been organizing Toy Drives for well over a decade in the Leghigh Valley and Philadelphia region. Before the pandemic he had expanded the events into multi cities throughout Pennsylvania as well other states including Wisconsin,New York, and throughout Ontario Canada.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember going to an event in Philly in the early 2000s this group Krush Unit was using the proceeds from the show to get Gameboys for the Chrildrens Hospital. It was the first time I had seen local groups really coming together for something like that. It really moved me, the following year we started throwing Toy drive events and using whatever platforms and reach we had to try and put smiles on some kids faces.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cArtist are blessed to be able to go on stage and perform and connect with like minded people, It\u2019s important to find time to give back, and to use our platform to spread some positivity\u201d<\/p>\n
Space Kamp also organizes an Annual Coat Drive and is active advocates for Cannabis Reform.<\/p>\n
