Northampton County (189 Residents\/24 Non-Residents).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA rise in respiratory infections is being reported across the nation which includes cases of COVID-19,\u201d says Lamont McClure. \u201cI encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated and boosted and to wear a mask when in the presence of someone who is vulnerable to infection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>189 Resident 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ages of the deceased range from 38 to 101 years.<\/p>\n<p>Average age of the deceased is 82 years<\/p>\n<p>Gender \u2013 52% Female, 48% Male<\/p>\n<p>Race: 93% White, 1.4% African American, 5% Hispanic, 0.6% Asian<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The GIS department has put together a dashboard to track COVID-19 infections and related deaths in Northampton County. Younger people remain at significant and serious risk. All eligible Northampton County residents should get vaccinated and boosted and continue to practice social distancing when in the presence of someone who might be vulnerable to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>This information is being provided as they are the facts as they exist on the ground as of today.
