BETHLEHEM, PA (DECEMBER 2022)<\/strong>\u00a0– Valley Youth House announces the hiring of Kristen Walsh as Associate Director of Development.\u00a0Kristen Walsh is a seasoned fundraising professional with over 14 years of nonprofit experience.<\/p>\n

In her new role, she will work with individual donors, corporations, and foundations to increase philanthropy and advance the agency’s mission.<\/p>\n

Kristen most recently served as the Development Director for the American Heart Association of Greater Lehigh Valley.\u00a0Prior to that, she served as the Development Director at Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites with a focus on preparing Bethlehem to become a World Heritage Site as well as leadership roles in the heritage tourism,\u00a0anti-hunger, and adult education industries.<\/p>\n

Kristen received her MA in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.\u00a0She serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Eastern PA Chapter and is a past-president of the Society of Volunteer Administrators.<\/p>\n

She is a lifelong Lehigh Valley resident, currently living in Macungie with her husband, Jeremy, where they care for their dog, Mocha, and 200+ houseplants.<\/p>\n
