ALLENTOWN, PA (12\/19\/22)<\/strong>\u00a0– Valley Youth House is pleased to announce that\u00a0Project Silk Lehigh Valley\u00a0is moving to 1101 Hamilton Street, Suite 102, Allentown, PA 18101 in the Hamilton Business Center.<\/p>\n

Project Silk Lehigh Valley\u00a0is an LGBTQ+ inclusive drop-in program that is youth-led, adult-supported, and offers a wide variety of free services.\u00a0Project Silk Lehigh Valley\u00a0offers a safe and affirming space for young people ages 14 to 29 who are members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.\u00a0Project Silk Lehigh Valley\u00a0provides access to HIV and STI testing, active recreation, peer support, counseling, education on health and social topics, food and emergency supplies.<\/p>\n

Project Silk Lehigh Valley\u00a0will move from its current location in the\u00a0Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center\u00a0at the end of the calendar year and will be open for services on January 17, 2023.\u00a0Weekly drop-in hours are Monday through Thursday from 1-7PM. Mondays are especially designed for 18+ and Fridays are reserved for appointments and special events. Testing and counseling appointments can also be made for other times.<\/p>\n
