(January 23, 2023, Allentown, Pa) \u2013The\u00a0Lehigh Valley Legends,\u00a0<\/strong>a professional basketball organization dedicated to fostering talent and skillset at a local level, announce the latest player joining their roster for the 2023 season.<\/p>\n

The Basketball League (TBL) and Lehigh Valley Legends welcome Guyana native and local high school and college phenom player Anthony Moe.\u00a0 Anthony played for Souderton High School in Telford, Pa before joining Division II powerhouse Millersville University.\u00a0 The 6\u20199\u201d power forward and center is best known for helping Guyana win the FIBA International Cup Championship and TBL\u2019s Albany Patroons bring home the win in 2019 with an East Conference Title.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Basketball League encourages the success of our youth and young adults on and off the court, explains Legends new center and power forward, Anthony Moe. \u00a0\u201cI like the direction that the organization is going and with the Lehigh Valley Legends being one of TBL\u2019s newest teams to join the league, I am excited to continue to grow with them,\u201d<\/p>\n

Legends Head Coach Antwan Dobie continues, \u201cI\u2019m excited to work with TBL and the Lehigh Valley Legends. We represent an integral part of this community, inspiring the next generation of athletes and Anthony Moe exemplifies the professional basketball experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moe currently averages 17 points, 8 rebounds and nearly 2 blocks per game.\u00a0 His foul shot percentage is 75%.\u00a0\u201cAs we continue building the Lehigh Valley Legends, Anthony Moe adds great value to our team,\u201d confirms Coach Dobie.\u00a0 \u201cHe is a seasoned, talented player who has experience winning championships.\u00a0 We look forward to seeing his energy, leadership and performance on the court.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lehigh Valley Legends is led by a hands-on executive team consisting of President & CEO James Steward; Michael Johnson, Business Development; Danielle Bynum, Head of Marketing; Marc Sanchez, Director of Technology; and Community Relations Manager, Sheri Weber.<\/p>\n

Lehigh Valley Legends season opener against the Syracuse Stallions will be played at the organization\u2019s new home court, The Kirby Sports Center at Lafayette College on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 7 p.m.\u00a0 Tickets range from $7 – $13.
