Make 2023 your year to help someone who needs lifesaving blood<\/strong>. American Red Cross is recruiting for Blood Donor Ambassadors who can help welcome and engage blood donors, explain the donation process as necessary, and assist with initial intake and hand-offs through the blood donation process. The National Canal Museum (NCM) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our children’s program, Kids on the Canal! <\/strong>Volunteers should enjoy doing crafts and demonstrating planned activities to kids visiting the museum every 3rd Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. from April to December. The K9 Kop Project is a 501c3 that provides funding for K9 units and educates the public on the needs of K9 Officers. <\/strong>We are looking for a Virtual Administrative Assistant to help for 1-2 hours weekly. Duties include making calls, email correspondence, assembly of packets\/letters\/marketing materials, maintaining contact lists, etc. Knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint a plus. Minimum age 21. A one-acre garden, called the Easton Urban Farm, supplies fresh produce, as well as flowers, each summer to underserved neighborhoods. <\/strong>Three times a week, we rely on volunteers to prepare rows, plant, weed, compost, water, pick and bundle and transport veggies to food pantries and senior centers in Easton. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to the same day\/time every week. Clearances required. Orientation provided by The Easton Neighborhood Center on February 25. Work begins March<\/p>\n
