LEHIGH VALLEY, PA; February 9, 2023 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Lehigh Valley Public Media, a community-owned nonprofit organization and home to LehighValleyNews.com, PBS39, and 93.1 WLVR, has elected Luis Campos to its 2023 Board of Directors. Campos currently serves as the City Administrator for Easton, where he\u00a0manages all aspects of City Government, including acting as the Chief Administrative and Operating Officer, working closely with the Mayor and City Council.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to welcome Luis to the Lehigh Valley Public Media Board of Directors,\u201d said Susan Yee, Board Chair. \u201cAs someone who is forward-thinking and community-minded, he is going to provide the organization with great insight and expertise, helping to further our mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to his current position, Campos served as Director of Administration for Northampton County. He has also worked in the Governor\u2019s Office of the Budget, The Governor\u2019s Office of Administration and the Small Business Development Center at Lehigh University.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to serve on the Lehigh Valley Public Media Board of Directors,\u201d said Luis Campos. \u201cWith a seemingly unlimited amount of information and content at people\u2019s fingertips, it is my goal to help ensure that public media continues to operate at a high level \u2013 connecting, inspiring and informing the Lehigh Valley.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to serving on the board of Lehigh Valley Public Media, Campos currently sits\u00a0on several community boards including the Board of Governors for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the F\u00e9 Foundation, the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, and Third Street Alliance. In 2022, Campos was recognized as one of the top 100 Latino professionals at the Pennsylvania Annual Latino Conference.<\/p>\n

Lehigh Valley Public Media also extends thanks and gratitude to Dr. Philip Fromuth and Mr. Steven Thompson who finished their terms on the board as of January 30, 2023.<\/p>\n
